We just finished the HEVC component of the FFMPEG upgrade for PMS and the player apps .
After the holidays, the last phase of FFMPEG upgrade can begin.
A lot of the base work has been completed.
Timeframe wise, As soon as product & marketing teams enable HEVC for everyone (it’s alreeady in the PMS code now), we’ll prepare for and start the FFMPEG 6 forum preview.
I don’t have any dates for you, sorry. I’m not involved with their planning discussions.
