Colour Block Top Right Corner

Hi all.

 

I updated my raspberry pi with rasplex on Thursday to 0.5.1. I hadn't used it until an hour ago. Since then I've an overlay in the top right corner. You can see it in the screenshot below behind Mr Segal's head. How can I remove it? Yes I can downgrade to 0.4.1 but I'm hoping there's a better and easier way to get rid of it.

I am using a 2.1a IPad charger and i still get the coloured square, do you think i will need to remove wifi dongle and use cat 5, if this issue persists ???

Don't use an iPad charger, not recommended as the output can vary, get one certified for Raspberry Pi use.
