I am experiencing this weird issue where some tv shows with multiple episodes combined as single file are in the server and even after naming as S01E01_S01E06, they are displaying thumbnails as each of the multiple episodes but time duration of each episodes shows as single combined file duration and when playing them, the next button for each episode does not show up in that case. Basically, even if we play separate episodes from the list of thumbnails created there, it will all be playing from the beginning of the show instead of the beginning of that particular episode.

That’s how it is. Plex is not able to virtually separate the episodes from their common file. It doesn’t know where the boundaries of the indivdual episodes are. It is still one contiguous file and will be played as one contiguous file.
If you really want a handling like these are separate files, then make them into separate files.
