Ok here is the problem it all started when my database was accidently destroyed, I download a tv series that is 2 different series one from 2005 & the other from 2016 when the system started rescanning the library it combined episodes from the 2016 into the 2005 so I figured I’d remove the series of both and then put them back in the folder 1 at a time the 1st one from 2005 show’d fine but the moment I put the 2nd one back it again combine itself with the 2005 the folders are called B*** (2005) & B*** (2016) so it’s not likely it needs to combine it and when you do a match it shows the shows as being from 2 different years but it still screws it up, How can I fix this issue it’s keeping me from completing the rest of my libarary please help

Name and organize according to Plex requirements.

Add the TVDB ID to the show folder name.

After renaming, Plex Dance both shows, putting them back one at a time.
If Plex still combines the shows, then split them and Fix Match if necessary. See Merge or Split Items.
