Combining Movies and TV-series when creating new Libraries

Hello everyone,

I ham having a bit of trouble with the Plex App. It is not a technical problem but a functional problem…
When I am creating a new Library, I am forced to select Movies or TV-series separately.
This is the current ability of the Plex App.
However, when I’m creating a new Library, what I want to do is to combine the Movies and TV-series, because I know for a fact that there are Movies and TV-series available of the same Title (ex. Star Wars, Star Trek, same for Cartoons and Anime). Star Trek has at least 10 Movies, and also at least 4 TV-seies, etc.

So my question is as follows…
When creating a new Library and Selecting the Type of Library, can you make it possible to Select BOTH Movies and TV-series for that Library? (Ctrl+Movies+TV-series).

Please let me know.

You cannot do that.

While you cannot create libraries that contain Movies and TV Series, you can use Collections to have a view that contains both:
