With server Version 1.16.1.1273 or possibly the one prior, my Commercial Skip global default in the DVR setup has been reverted to “No.” Just an FYI for anyone else confused as to why commercials remain in their recordings suddenly.
Did you delete and add your DVR back as a result of the new EPG? That would change your commercial skip setting back to No as the default, I think
That would make sense, but I never deleted my DVR. It just stopped removing commercials over the past couple of days, and this appeared to be the culprit.
Yep…I had the same thing happen. At first I thought Plex had just missed removing some of the commercials (this happens to me every now and then). But after watching a couple recorded shows, I realized that it wasn’t removing ANY commercials. So I checked my settings and found that commercial removal had been unchecked.
