I am running the Plex app in a fire stick. I set the app to limit streaming to 720p at 2meg. The web movies stream without hardly any buffering but when it cuts to a commercial break, it takes almost 10 minutes to get through the break due to all the buffering. The commercial breaks do not pay any attention to the bandwidth settings in the app and get streamed as if they are all 1080p and not compressed. My Internet download speed is almost 3 megs. Is there anyway to limit the bandwidth of the commercials? Otherwise, the web services are useless to me.

Thanks for spotting my post and commenting. I think you’ve identified the root of the problem - the Bandwidth they use for the advertisements vice that used for the actual program content. Hopefully they will see that this is an issue that needs fixing, because at present I too am thinking that the Web Services are a bit of a waste of time.
