Como Audio Musica player a WD NAS and Album art work

I have a smart radio called Como Audio Musica.
This device streams internet radio stations and also plays music from my NAS.
The NAS I have is WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra.
The NAS came with Plex
The NAS also came with Twonky
All software/firmware is up to date.
My issues:

The smart radio has the ability to display album art work.
When playing music, off the NAS, on the smart radio via Plex, the album art work is not displayed
When playing music, off the NAS, on the smart radio via Twonky, the album art work IS displayed
The artwork is embedded in the music file AND also has a separate file in the same folder as the music

I would like for plex to allow the artwork to be displayed on the smart radio.

Please help.
