Album cover images don't appear

Server Version#: Version 1.12.2.4964
Player Version#:

I’ve installed Plex on an WD MyCloudHome and created a 1.3TB library of music, mostly FLAC files. This was copied from prior libraries running on a USB drive attached to my computer. The vast majority of files have embedded cover art, but none of it seems to show up in Plex Library. Also, the main use for this NAS Library will be to feed my Auralic Aries Mini media streamer, which can use Roon or its own proprietary Lightning DS Server. So I have 2 questions:

  1. How do I get the cover art to show up in Plex?
  2. Will that also ensure that Roon or Lightning DS can also display the cover art? If not, how does that work?
I should emphasize that this library when computer-attached has been used not only with both of the programs above but also JRiver and Windows Media w/o any problems with cover art displaying. And that also hold for when the computer share was used across the network by my Aries Mini.

I am having the same issue with a new WD MyCloud. Unknown album, no poster. If I go to edit and select poster the correct art is there and can be selected. Unknown album tag still remains even though all the tack information is correct.

Have you had any feedback from Plex or other users? I’m unimpressed with Plex so far. Wondering if there are other media servers that will run on My Cloud Home. I’ve scanned my library in Roon, JRiver and Lightining, the proprietary app that comes with my DAC and all of them have succeeded in reading the tags and album images MUCH better than Plex. Pretty sad, IMO.
