Thank you Otto for your answer, but I did not find two fields “Artist” and “Album artist”, only one of them. How can I select all the concerned albums and set the same field name for all, please ?

I don’t know what you are using to edit your files’s metadata.

You can’t use Plex to change your media file’s embedded metadata. None of the changes you make are written back to your media files. They are only stored in the internal Plex database. You need a separate software to edit your music’s internal meta tags.

Interesting. Which well-designed and functional software would you recommend for MacOS or Synology (for a reasonable price as it would be a one shot use)? Thanks.
