I want to wipe every last remnant of plex media server from one of my previous servers so that i can load a brand new one with a blank slate. When i uninstall and reinstall the software it automatically brings the data that was there before back. I know its reading the data from somewhere, most likely a database file stored somewhere, because i did a complete overhaul of the filing system and the items that come up are using the original filing system and none of the videos can play. I need to know where this data might be coming from so that i can wipe it completely and start from scratch. Has anybody else come across a similar situation?
You also have to remove the data directory (and registry entries on Windows): Uninstall Plex Media Server | Plex Support
