Connected to server, then upgraded to Premium, now web app cannot find server

Just getting started with Plex today. Everything went fine with the install including the browser app seeing the media server once I clicked launch. Next step was upgrading to Premium but since then can only get this far - A server could not be found. Download and install Plex Media Server, and it will appear here. Been going through the various online help items but nothing has worked so far. I’ve tried repairing and uninstalling / reinstalling the media server without luck. Any guidance what to do next would be appreciated.

I am pretty sure that when you bought the plex pass, you created a new plex.tv account.
Your web browser is now logged into this new plex account.
But your server is still using the old account (which doesn’t have the plex pass).
So your browser cannot find your server because it has no access permission to it.

You must bring the server over into the new plex.tv account:

If you already had shared your server with other people, you will have to invite them again afterwards.

Cool, thanks. The step to start Plex locally then use it to sign into the web app looks to have done the trick. Onward and upward now.
