Ever since I made the switch to google fiber, I have been unable to directly connect to the server. I have port forwarded and reserved an IP, but am still connecting through a relay (which makes the quality quite bad). Anybody have any idea what I can try next? TIA
I have heard lots of people having trouble with Google fiber. I don’t know if it’s confusion in the setup system, or if it’s actually stopping port forwarding situations. But usually a Plex relay setup is the result of a double NAT. I don’t have any experience with google fiber (they chickened out on expanding to Utah like they promised), so I don’t know for myself if it’s doable. You can look for others that might have google fiber using the forum search, see if they managed to resolve it. Or wait a bit, and someone that has it might chime in.
