Plex Server is running on Windows 10.
Every 10-20 minutes the computer is kicked off the network and cannot reconnect unless I restart the NIC. Now I’ve attempted all the driver rollbacks, updates, and the system restarts.
Windows Event log states the DNS error and then boots the system from the network with no attempts to reconnect.
The system is correctly configured to stay up when not in use and this has only occured after I moved states.
This issue only arises after the Plex Media Server is turned on and ceases after it is turned off.
In my reserach, I’ve noticed that this issue existed back in 2017 and then again in 2019, the posts from that era state that Plex was sending discovery packets and the router was flagging these as DOS attacks.
I’ve applied the fixes from those forum posts, but the issue persists. Looking for some help.
