This has been happening about once a day recently. I’ll open Plex either on my Xbox One or my desktop (macOS Catalina) and get a message that I need to update it. Then I’ll re-install the exact same newest version, and it will work again on all devices.
Rinse and repeat the next day. Today on the Xbox the error said I was running version 1.10.1 when I know I installed the latest, 1.23.6.4810-15ce0e21a.
Like I said, the weirdest thing about this is that when I do replace the Plex install, it WORKS, until roughly the next time I use it. How am I constantly rolling back to an earlier version? Is there a cache or a PLIST somewhere that I can clear out?
