I went on my smart TV last night. I set up the app and signed in. I searched for the movie that I wanted to view and it was stated as unavailable. This movie is in my library. My PC was turned on. I cant understand why it wouldn’t play. Advice please? Thank you

What kind of smart tv / setup are we talking about?
Does the smart tv come with Amazon‘s FireTV built-in or are you using one of their sticks/boxes? What version of the Plex app for FireTV do you have installed on the system.

Does this issue only happen on this device or are you having similar issues with all your Plex apps?

I think that I may have found the answer. I think somebody has swapped the external hard drive. So Finding the correct external hard drive shouldn’t be to hard hopefully.

How do I find which drive letter and path plex recognises?

Thank you

You should see those either by checking the Info tab when editing a movie / episode / …
It’s probably easier to edit the library and check which top level library folders were added to that library (Manage Library > Edit… → Add Folder). This folder path should also list the drive letter / mount point.

If I go onto one of my films and click on the thre dots “…” then “Get Info” it shows the path of the saved folder. So now to find my hard drive!

Not sure what you refer to by „saved folder“ vs. „drive“.
I’m on a Linux system and Get Info will show me the complete path of my files.
