Content will not download from Media server

Dear esteemed Plex community,
I have looked for answers but could not find so I decided to create one- Apologies for any redundance and feel free to point me in the right direction.

I have a plex pass lifetime and own my managed server for internal use only, hosted on a relatively powerful machines:

I have recently turned on the download feature ( and therefore IIUC turned off the old sync feature ) from my mobile.
1st question: Is there anything to do server side to activate the download feature for my mobile client app ?

As it stands, the content is displayed on the mobile, as being downloaded, with an orange spinning wheel, but the download rate always stays stuck at 0.0 kbps. see the screengrab below :

These actions are taken from within an internal network, on the WIFI ( for the mobile client ) and on LAN ( for the PMS ).

I have tried numerous settings in the download section from Transcoding to DIrect downloads, I see no difference.

Note that the Sync functionality was working fine before this so I am a little puzzled.

I’m having these exact same symptoms. Latest server running on Docker (everything including prior sync works great). Downloading anything will start, and even transcode it looks like, but nothing will download (stuck at 0B).

I don’t see any errors in the log files.

I am suffering from the exact same problem. Have been looking for a solution online and haven’t found any. Would highly appreciate your looking into it, Plex.
