"Continue Watching" doesn't work

Hi there.
This is concerning the player for iOS/iPadOS.

I’ve been using Plex for over a year now, and I always keep the server and clients (in this case, 2 iPads and 2 MacBook Pros) updated to the latest mobile/OS version. This is something I was planning to report for a while.

For as long as I remember, the main page with “Continue Watching” has never worked.

To really continue watching from where I last watched, I have to go to my TV shows, find the show, find the season, scroll down to the last episode that shows it wasn’t played, and tap it to play.

Am I doing something wrong?

I’m watching Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now, and have to do that every evening when I grab my iPad.

Has the entire show already been played previously? If so the next episodes won’t show up, you should “Mark as Unplayed” on the items if you want them to show up.

Figured it out. Some shows were partially watched.
Anyway, since I’m only 3 episodes from finishing the show, I marked it all as unwatched, then all of it as watched, then the last 3 episodes as unwatched.
