Continue Watching - Expand to show more than 3

Version 0.9.16.6

Not sure if there is a way but the continue watching only shows the last 3. Everyone has different moods and being a quick way of continuing is great, but 3 is too little. Be nice to be user controlled (drop down number or similar) and/or have the same look and feel like On Deck where you can scroll across.

thanks

I’ve asked for this months ago. Started originally on iOS devices:

Did you ever get an update on this? I would like to bump this somewhere in the 4-6 range.

  • bump  * I too, love the idea of expanding the user’s control to enable adjusting the number of items displayed.

+1. I would like more than three in-progress episodes.

+1 I would like more than three in-progress episodes.

+1 I need about ten in-progress videos

+1 Hey Devs
please some response on this? Shouldn’t be hard to implement, I am one myself

Please allow us to change how many entries should be displayed in:

  • on a deck
  • continue watching

Much appreciated! Michal

You can get more detailed hubs if you browse to a specific library from the dashboard, if that helps

That’s not the point
I don’t wanna nor it doesn’t even make sense for what we are trying to point out here

We all have multiple libraries and want to be able to continue watching straight away from the dashboard
Me personally I have now 16 libraries and actively using content from about ±10

So for me it makes more sense to have continue watching from all those libraries (better to have it configurable which one include and which not - nobody wants porn there right?).

So my proposition would be to set the limit (count or time in the past) to include video in the section - and while having this allow users to click on the title “CONTINUE WATCHING” (or any other) and it will expand the section across whole view - not just single floating line - so we can see as much content as possible at once.
How about that  ? That would be just awesome wouldn’t it?

have it configurable which one include and which not

Just to reassure you  this is already configurable with the ‘include in dashboard’ for a library.

while having this allow users to click on the title “CONTINUE WATCHING”

That sounds a scalable solution, I’ll follow that up with the team. Thanks!

Yes please give us more than 3.
I think the user could also choose instead of an exact number the videos recently watched in the last day, week, month, and another user specified range.

We have a pending change on PMS that exposes more than 3 - we need to test if this works ok across the clients, but hopefully will be able to address this soon.

Thanks! Please consider the count configuration as well

Yes, 6 or 10 please (or confirgurable). 3 is crazy. my kids movies keep bumping mine off!

x100 on this. Those of us with Children especially are well aware of how many unfinished movies there will be. My movie never exists on the dashboard.

You know that you can create another local user with individual on deck dashboard and quickly switch between users, right? Just saying. I had to create that just to not mix things up. Still, 3 is still too small number even for one (busy) person (who watches everything in small parts), so I hope they will roll out the changes soon enough.

Hi there,

Has this been sorted? I cannot seem to increase the amount of ‘continue watching’ items.

Thanks

Yes, has this been sorted yet - very annoying :frowning:

I realise i’m one of many who need this. I would love a history list with all watched and part watched please. Thank you
