Roku: 8.6.9
Having an odd experience and just wanna confirm if it’s intentional or just a thing that irks me but others might like it.
Let’s say I have 5 TV shows in my Continue Watching row. If I watch a show in position 3, when I’m done watching episodes of that show and decide I want to go back to Home to pick a different show, the show I was just watching is now in position 1 (as expected) but the focus\cursor will be on position 3.
It seems whichever position you started a playback from is where the focus stays when you return home.
My expectation is that whenever returning back to Home, the focus on Continue Watching would be set back to the first position - the default position and the title I just played - which I think is how it worked in Plex before New Experience because this hunting for where the focus is now and clicking right or left to get to something else in that row is not a familiar feeling.
It makes the current experience feel cumbersome because the focus can be anywhere in that row. It’s essentially unpredictable and that’s kinda jarring. If it defaults to first position and the title that was last played from that row, it will feel consistent which I think makes the experience smoother.
And while I’m talking UI\UX stuff I’d still like the clock put back on the Up Next screen.
