Continue Watching/Recently Added disappearing and content unavailable intermittently

Hey everyone, I’ve had a problem for the past couple of months on all of my Roku clients where if it sits idle on the home screen there seems to be some kind of disconnect with my server. It starts with the Continue Watching row disappearing after 5-10 minutes and sometimes artwork disappearing from all my titles in the libraries. Then a bit later all the recently added rows will also disappear and I’ll start getting content unavailable errors on everything. I have to exit through the menu and relaunch and then everything is ok again. I thought it may be a bug but it’s been awhile and I’m not seeing anyone else complain about it.This effects all 3 of my TCL roku’s but not my android tv app or my phone app. My server is on Win 11 with everything up to date. I completely wiped and reinstalled windows and set my plex server up again from scratch. Also factory reset modem/router. Server has otherwise been fine for a good 3 years before all this. I can post a log if that helps but I’m not sure what parts of it I should be looking for. Any help is super appreciated!!

I’m also getting the exact same behavior on 3 Hisense Roku TVs, with the added bonus of sometimes when I relaunch the Plex app it shows no content on my server, then relaunch a few more times and everything is back. I think it’s a problem with authentication, but I’m not sure where to start looking, since there is nothing in the server logs, it’s all happening on the client side.

Hey I ended up solving this as it was actually a really unstable wifi connection throughout my entire house. If you google roku secret menu, you can get to a screen which has a signal bar for connection and my glitch rate was through the roof. I bought a new router and it fixed everything for me. Hope this helps you figure it out as I was frustrated and it took me months to notice it was a wifi issue.
