Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start up.

With the actual version of the server 1.12.3 , the server does not transcode anymore. Direct play works. The message within the header pops up. What to do ?

Immediately after it fails,

Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs

Attach that ZIP file so we can see what’s happening. If it fails immediately, it should be easy to spot

Unfortunately you’re using Windows and I am the Linux guy. I had a 50/50 shot at being able to help.
I’ll ask one of the Windows guys to jump in.

In the future, please don’t turn on VERBOSE logging until asked. Plex only keeps 26 MB of logs. Too much DEBUG info is lost when Verbose mode is on.

Server version 1.13.0.5003 removed the problem !
