Converted files cannot be written to the server's disk

I am trying to create optimized files for some movies, and they immediately fail. It reports “Converted files cannot be written to the server’s disk”. Plex Media Server is running on Synology DSM 7, and I can confirm the PlexMediaServer System account has R/W access to the folder where the movies are to be stored, which is in the folder of the original. What am I doing wrong!
