Its nice being able to listen to Tidal music in Plex, but songs added to Tidal library do not seem to sync into Plex music library (have to do manually, either song by song or album by album).
Is there any 1st party or 3rd party ways to do this automatically?
Theoretically you can add Tidal albums to your local library, but there are downsides to this.
My personal recommendation is not to do it.
Tidal works best as embellishment to a local music library, not as the main music source.
My hope was to unify music I own and music that is more affordable to stream into one experience.
So far playback seems to work well, but building/synchronizing the collection (as tidal calls it) is not as ubiquitous.
I am able to see my tidal songs when under Tracks in the “Music - On Tidal” Plex library. From there I can add individual songs to my server music library, but I am not finding a way to bulk add (or auto sync to) the local server (as Tidal tracks).

What are the downsides? Currently it is working well for me, except that I have to manually add, it can’t just pull from my Tidal tracklist.

My goal is to unify the two libraries (my local tracks and the songs I have added to my Tidal library), especially since apps like Plexamp only support 1 library at a time.
