I signed up for plex cloud on day one. I just noticed recently that I’m not receiving emails reliably from plex anymore. For whatever reason the emails are not making it to my gmail account inbox and I can’t find any recent news updates from plex etc anywhere in my email account. My question to a plex employee is that if I did get my invite, I never received it. Can someone check this for me?
Hi @nholloman,
We will begin adding more beta users on December 5th. I can’t guarantee you will receive your invitation exactly on the 5th, however we are ramping up the beta to test our new cloud storage provider integrations and other under-the-hood improvements. Invites do go out through email, so please make sure you whitelist noreply@plex.tv and check your junk/spam folder. I can look up your account provisioning manually, but this is not something I would offer to everyone who registered for the beta. Lots of people on that list!!
If you could check that for me I would appreciate it very much.
You can check yourself. Just see if you can access the Plex Cloud forum, https://forums.plex.tv/categories/plex-cloud-beta.
I am receiving beta app builds via buddybuild, however I cannot access the forum.
Can you verify my account provisioning please.
Thank you.
If you are receiving things from buddy build, then you are in the iOS beta. That is totally separate from the Plex Cloud beta.
Right, I did apply for the Plex Cloud beta though
Anything you can do about that? Would be appreciated.
Same here. I signed up and no invite
Ditto.
I’d love to know how the selection process works. Are they inviting users with varied devices/collection sizes or is it random?
mates , mates of mates . maybe some people that signed up
more mates then we will remove the storage we told you to sign up for then not send you an invite for another 6-18 month’s
can I have a refund on my Amazon drive I don’t need anymore ? only signed up for it due to your advise and release of plex Cloud in beta …
what is you mad logic have the users pay for many different storage vendors then ow wait they changed the API we can’t use it now .
mate yes I save money on a server but I spent 10x that online storage … lol
go buy your own VPS only way Plex have dropped the ball bad on this and really look at the stat of everything else now.
Plex is falling apart .
Drop cloud now, fix your core platform (you broke it boss all your fault), then go back to it…
but I’m in the land of OZ no love for us from many places
Good Bye .

I already say that in my topic

For refund forget that its mistake from us and plex we should not have invest to amazon drive until we get invite ! and they should not advertise plex cloud with amazon drive !!
They already try to fix it in more than one way
1: they work to fix all the issue with amazon drive
2:They add more cloud service
Until now there are no official respond from plex team that they will drop amazon drive , So lets wait
Plex team are smart and they will make it work in one way or other just trust them
And for amazon drive i think there are 3 month free so you can stop it before it start

Agreed.
It’s been said before but I think it needs to be said again…
Plex Cloud is not a feature of Plex Pass. It’s a invited beta, and as such is not guaranteed. It’s designed to find the flaws and bugs that are an inevitable part of the process.
This is one of them.
The beta is doing it’s job.
From reading posts from users in the beta, there are lots of people that have had problems with using Amazon with Plex Cloud. Taking the option offline for the moment at least offers users platforms that do actually work without stalling the progress of the development.
The Amazon Cloud issue Plex is coming against lies with the Amazon API, something that they have no control over.

There some users have a problem with dropbox !
I think these cloud service is not made for media streaming ,
The problem the Amazon API i think all cloud service have API limit these something plex is trying to figure with the beta, I think it should be plex pass feature only because we pay for plex pass and we should have the feature before free user !
I really hope that they share there roadmap and what they have for Cloud and DVR
I applied for the Plex Cloud before I got my Plex Pass. Does this mean my entry into the beta is now considered a non plex pass entry, and not prioritized over people without plex pass? If so, how can I go about changing that? Contact support?
Has it been confirmed that any Non-Plex Pass users infact have a Plex Cloud Enabled account?
Cheers Rob.
