Hello, I am using a windows PC as my server and AppleTV Plex app as my player. I have been adding smart playlist cover art in a roundabout way for a while. Setting up a blank video file and adding custom cover art to it so that my playlists would have custom art. Sadly this is not a permanent thing as playlists update, it will revert the cover art to a medley of what is in the playlist. This meant I had to either had to mark all files as read to get my cover art to return to normal before marking everything as unread. A long process when having many smart playlists.
Recently I noticed that the option to edit the cover art for a smart playlist was added. What an awesome feature I thought. Immediate went and updated all my playlists thinking that would be the last time I would have to do it.
Fast forward to now. While my Plex browser on PC is displaying everything as it should be. All the player apps on all the AppleTV’s and iPad’s in the house are reverting to the medley style of cover art. Many not adding the custom art that I want displayed permanently.
Is there anyway to correct this so that the Plex IOS apps are mirroring the cover art from the browser/server?
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app… didn’t fix the issue.
