Create a library that points to another NAS

I have two QNAP T-451 NAS and currently have all my libraries and PMS on NAS#1. I would like to transfer all movies to NAS#2 and keep TV on NAS#1. I moved a single movie to NAS#2 and can see it on my Windows computer through File Explorer, but no matter how I try to add it in PMS, it never adds the movie to the PMS Library…
I’ve tried adding by IP (\192.168.100.200\Media\Movies\4K and //192.168.100.200/Media/Movies/4K)
and by the server name (\Server2\Media\Movies\4K and //Server2/Media/Movies/4k).
None of these seem to work. Permissions on NAS#2 are wide open.

Thoughts?

To be more clear, when I say try to add, I mean trying to add a new library, clicking “Browse for Media Folder” and entering the NAS#2 info in the Add Folder window.

Using FileStation / Hybrid Mount, setup the mount and have it remount at system startup.

You can select / name the mount point per your liking.

Doing it this way, you will always have local-host relative paths.
You can avoid the troubles inherent to UNC .

I have tried that and for some reason it slows response time considerably. Playback of a movie housed on NAS#1 starts immediately and I can click on the timebar and it immediately begins playing at that point. But if it is housed on NAS#2 it takes at least 30 seconds to start playing and 10-15 to resume after clicking a random time on the timebar.
