I apologize if I’ve created this in the wrong place, but I wasn’t sure where exactly it should go.
I’m a Plex Pass subscriber and use https://app.plex.tv/desktop to access the Plex library running on my Synology DS1520+ NAS (running DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 3 on x86_64 architecture).
I’ve been having trouble recently with the inability to create Smart Collections or Smart Playlists… When I click either item in the pop-up menu, the entire row of buttons near the top of the UI disappears. The other functions available in that menu work fine. However, if I access the plex-web interface running on my NAS, I am able to successfully create Smart Collections / Playlists.
I think it might actually be an issue with app.plex.tv and not related to my Plex server, but I’m not sure. The browser console isn’t outputting any errors and the info/warnings that do show seem unrelated. I’ve confirmed this issue is occurring as of these Plex server versions:
- 1.30.3.6509 (beta)
- 1.30.0.6486
I’m quite certain this problem was not occurring when I had these prior versions installed:
- 1.29.2.6364
- 1.27.2.5929
- 1.26.2.5797
- 1.26.0.5715
- 1.24.4.5081
