How to create and manage explicitly created metadata and icons
Maybe not the right place to post ( please advise ) First off Kudos for creating the Plex system -
If one can't do this then this is expressing a feature request,
if one can, then it's a query about how to accomplish it in full or in part :)
I have media files which I have placed in the plex media server on a windows box, and for some of them I would like to explicitly define metadata for such that "Title" text, and potentially an Icon file I explicitly select and/or supply will display on the Roku client - not as the popup but for the active selection but for the icons in the scrolling list.

as part of the icon,

or overlayed on the icon,

or as a subscript or superscript to the icon ( above or below )

or as an auto-generated icon image which contains just a rendering of the title text

or the ability to specify an image Icon I create or find on my own and place on the server.
Hopefully the client side icon list will be in alphabetical title order, and idealy be searchable somehow from the client.
The fantasy being a drop-down for "title display" ( show title / overlay title on icon / xxx with title / etc ) on editable metadata panel.
and a path which can be typed in or selected for the icon either as a specific URL to an image or a local path to an image on the server, and a "browse" button for selecting a local path from an "explorer" file requestor popup, and/or be able to drop an image onto the entry field, or a URL from a browser.
Anyway figured I'd put this out there :)
Thanks for the forum !!
