Credit Detection - (error: -2)

Server Version#: v1.31.0.6654-02189b09f
Player Version#: n/a

Just tried to run a credit detection and (as alpha release) I receive:

Feb 14, 2023 12:15:16.113 [0x2ab7d050] ERROR - BufferingLineReader: failed to read line (error: -2)

Feb 14, 2023 12:15:26.137 [0x2e24a290] DEBUG - Jobs: ‘/volume1/@appstore/PlexMediaServer/Plex Transcoder’ exit code for process 17062 is -9 (signal: Killed)

I believe this is a timeout error? Is there anywhere within a config file I can try adjusting?

Thank you.

Could you get me the entire logs zip?

Not a problem.

Would you like me to clear the log folder first and then analyze an episode… just so the logs are clean?

Not necessary, just make sure that you’ve run the detection directly before grabbing the logs.

I have stopped Plex Server, cleared the logs folder.

Started Plex and then analyzed a single TV Episode.

Will DM you the link the log files.

Did they come through OK?

Yup, all good thanks.

I might send you a test build to try out, is that okay?

Superb.

Not a problem, feel free to send it over.

Hi,

It’s doing it again:

Feb 16, 2023 22:18:45.907 [0x2aba3050] DEBUG - [JobRunner] Jobs: Starting child process with pid 28927
Feb 16, 2023 22:19:51.475 [0x2aba3050] ERROR - BufferingLineReader: failed to read line (error: -2)

It came across a 4k file, it may just be these little boxes are under powered for 4k.

At least not generally. I see credits detection working on my J4125 NAS up to 4K movies with failed ones on 4K, 1080p, 720p or even SD releases.

It also looks like it re-scanning the same assets every night as well :frowning:

I have turned off credit detection for now.

It is scanning the same files every night, causing unnecessary overhead.

The tv shows it is re-scanning have credits but they look to be scrolling and not being picked up.

I would not mind if it at least marked the files as scanned and just skipped them.
