“Curated” hubs in Videos library missing

On the Recommend tab in my home video library, Plex used to offer several hubs like “2013” or “This Month in 2018” etc. These changed daily, and I liked the way they would surface old content.

Since updating to the latest public release, these hubs are missing. Now I only see Continue Watching, Recently Added, Recent Playlists, Unplayed Videos, and Recently Played videos.

Is there any way to get these “curated” hubs back?

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3766
AppleTV Player Version#: 7.11

Check Settings → Library → Show Curated Recommendations

I just tested on my system using Plex Web as the client.

I don’t see 2013, This Month in 2018, etc.

I do see Tis’ The Season on my home page.

I tried Reset Customization in Settings → Plex Web → General. It didn’t make any difference.

Yes, the new setting only seems to affect Movies, not Videos.

I’ll have a look into why home video libraries don’t have those “This day in 2018” type hubs. I have a theory.

And, yes, that setting is directly related to hubs curated by “Plex”. I.e. the ‘Tis the season’ hub.

Thank you!

Any update on this? Have any of the server releases fixed it?

Bump.

Any update on this? I’d like to know if the old curated hubs will be returning. Otherwise I guess I’ll bite the bullet and update.

Bump.

Still hoping for an answer here.

I’m still here. Any answers?

Sigh, I guess this feature is dead. RIP
