Plex,inc does not care about local hosted content or your users anymore from a strategy standpoint. If plex,inc did, the following would be fixed:
- Multiple artists per track decade old bug
- 4 year old request to get TV season level extras to show up in the only clients that matter - Nvidia Shield and AppleTV
- Shield audio Sync dropouts on branching TRUE-HD releases
Instead, Keith and Jason are prioritizing ad dollars and creating a social media platform out of Plex for the eventual exit.
