I have been using Plex since Nov. of 2008. I have a PlexPass. I have been using the same video codecs since before I had Plex, Now all of a sudden I cannot play half of my videos in the NEW mobile app that I just installed one day ago. I have been using the CODECs .mp4 with HEVC or H.264 or Mpeg with ACC for sound. I have sometimes used MKV. All of my videos with my current use of Codecs have been working on Plex since 2008 on all of my mobile devices. What has changed? Do I now have to convert my videos to a new recommended Codec? Please help me understand what has changed and what I need to do.
Thank you for your time

I have the same issue. I believe the plex product managers do not want us to be able to choose file formats anymore.
Same issue on my end with the new update pushed to my mobile device yesterday. I’m crashing out on Plex if there’s not a fix for this - >75% of my streaming is via mobile and ain’t nobody got time to go update codecs across the board.
Bonjour J’ai le même problème, entre autres…
Comment je peux faire pour revenir à l’ancienne version andoid que j’utilisais depuis 2017.
En plus elle plante régulièrement sur mon S23
