TL;DR. Is it possible to have custom channel groups with user preferred channel order?
I’ve had Plex Live TV set up since it came out. Main use case has been on my travels, streaming local channels to my phone. Now in the last few months I’ve been trying to streamline my home setup. I use Apple TV Plex app (which has had some great improvements in the last year, thanks).
Main live tv watching is done with Raspberry Pi and VDR vnsi (Kodi). And that has been the situation since original Rpi B came out. I’d prefer to reduce the amount of devices/remotes in the living room and release the tuners VDR uses to Plex. The only thing currently keeping me from switching to Plex for live tv is the channel order. Is there any way to reorder the channels to my preferable order? We have some channels with SD and HD where the SD is in “correct” place but HD in way down and I’d like to move the HD channel to SD channel place.
With VDR it’s possible to set the channel order the way you want (a channels.conf file) and I’ve had a certain set for year. Also channel groups is an option (same channel in multiple groups etc). Could this kind of behaviour be possible in Plex?
