I would like to rearrange and delete specific Live-TV Streaming Channels. There are a number of streaming channels I’m not interested in and just want a collection of the channels that I may want to view in the order of my preference. Is there a way to do this in my dashboard?

I was able to de-select many channels I never use (spanish language, and about three THOUSAND shopping channels). It does not appear to allow rearranging of channels however.
It also allows you to correct a channel listing, if the number doesn’t match the actual guide data. For some reason one of my channels was a duplicate “TheGrio” channel, but it was labeled in the guide as something else…
I don’t have DVR enabled with a TV tuner collecting off-air channels, so my tab only shows “Live TV” not “Live TV & DVR”. The channels I’m trying to hide or delete are the PLEX Streaming channels.
On Live TV you can add them to Favorites an sort them there.

It appears the option to customize your preferences/favorites is not available in the hosted version of Plex Web at the moment. You should see that option if you use the bundled version of Plex Web (http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web).

I’ve double-checked… this seems to be a known side-effect of Plex merging the live tv guides. If you’re only using the live tv streaming, you currently cannot currently customize those channels. From what I understand, Plex is working on re-adding this feature (as usual no ETA).
The three dots on the right (left view plane) only gives me the option to Un-Pin or Reorder. The Reorder is just reordering the items in the view plane… say Live Tv can be above Podcasts…
Ok… That’s what I have discovered! Thanks for the info… Hope they improve the interface… lots of Plex channels that I’m never going to look at… it’s why I canceled my cable… forcing me to scroll through channels to get to the content I want to watch… I think they do this on purpose… like somehow one day I wake up and want to watch kid cartoons! Just clutter!
Even if they add a Grouping tab capability… I could add Plex channels to Weather, Sports, Local News, Music categories … and just look at the main channel lineup when I’m looking for something new.
Favorites will also come to the Web app.
At the moment they only exist in the 10-foot user interfaces. (I’m actually not sure in which apps they are released as of now.)
Either way, they are coming.
