I’m looking into a custom comskip. But I can’t find where comskip.ini is stored and also can’t find any comskip logs.
Running Plex on Synology DSM7.
Looked at /volume1/PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server and don’t see any comskip items
Not sure on Synology, it will be with the installed binaries: /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/comskip.ini
You will need to make a DVR directory in your “/volume1/PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server” to place your custom comskip.ini file. Be warned, if you have it set to process all files, during the maintenance window it will process all files.

Finally found Plex comskip.ini on Synology at /volume1/@appstore/PlexMediaServer/Resources
Do you happen to know where Plex comskip puts its’ logs ?
I’ve looked in various Plex Media Server logs and don’t see anything specific to comskip.
It really only logs the invocation to the ‘Plex Media Server.log’. You would have to pick a file and run it externally to pull any diagnostics.
