I tag my music with custom genres. Unfortunately, plexamp does not show these at all.
I would like Plexamp to list all the genres it has found in the scanned files.
Can this be fixed?
Is this specific to Plexamp or are your custom genres missing / not recognized when you added those files in the first place?
I have only checked in Plexamp and the genres are missing. Haven’t looked into Plex library yet.
I think the setting you’re looking for is for the server, not for the apps (including PlexAmp). Edit your music library, and in the advanced tab, you’ll find the setting to use the embedded tags. You will more than likely need to refresh metadata for the entire music library for your custom genres to display.
