+1 vote for me too, we need tags on all content, both the individual items and the groups of content i.e. series, seasons, episodes, movies. home video’s etc.
And they need to be searchable.

I would also like this feature so that I can tag each movie for which people would like to see it.
Can we please have this feature? I have lots of personal videos. Since auto tagging is not supported for videos, it would be great if we can at least tag them manually.
I’m organizing pictures from my recent travels. There are also some videos included that I would like to tag in the same way I do for pictures, such that they would also be filtered by those same tags. Actually, they thus get excluded when I want to make presentations for selected topics or locations, for example.
Also, as the videos do not support tags, when I do a selection of multiple pictures and videos, I am no longer able to tag. This is because the edit option disappears when a video (which as said does not support tags) is included in the selection. This is very annoying, as I have to either repeat the same tagging for multiple smaller bunches or remove individually any video from the selection. When I want to tag a range of thousand items at a time (eg. same country), this is frustrating.

I requested something similar, and it got redirected here, sharing again:
I have a user on my server who likes to filter library views to hide content he isn’t interested in. The only way he has found to do this thus far is to mark the content as “Watched” and then filter views to only show “Unwatched” content.
However, now that user play history plays a more significant role in the overall Plex experience (Activity feed, Discover > Friends, etc), he doesn’t want his activity to reflect content he hasn’t actually watched, but only marked watched to filter out of his library view.
It seems a better approach to this challenge would be to enable him to set his own tag on content that he can then create Advanced Filters against in the library UI. Today as far as I can tell, only the Server Owner can set tags on content, and those tags apply to all users.
