Customise the Dashboard

I’m a plex novice but wanted to start using it more to play videos from my collection and was wondering if it’s possible to customise the dashboard?
Ideally I would like to

  • Remove/Add folders from the “Recently Added” - some folders I don’t want to see what’s been added to it
  • Include a list of the last 25x videos that I have started (which would include ones that I have AND have not finished)
  • A list of videos that I have tagged to “watch later” (I think I read this might be coming soon)

For all management tasks, it’s best to use the web app https://app.plex.tv

Your started, but not finished videos are all included in the Continue Watching hub at the top of the home page.

That being said, if you insist on rolling your own:

Learn how to use the Advanced Filters. Create a smart collection from your filter. https://support.plex.tv/articles/publishing-collections/
Then publish this collection to the home page.
[Caveat: a smart collection can only have items from one Plex library]
