Dashboard user shows wrong account

Wanted to add a “Friend” and instead I accidentally added a “Home User”. I deleted him as a “home user” and then sent him a Friend invitation and when looking at Users and Sharing it looks like it should with myself as the only home user and then the new add shown as a Friend, however when I go to check the Dashboard Activity the movies he watches show up with my email as the user though the Player correctly lists his iPhone.

I"m using version 4.30.2 on a Synology NAS.

How do I correct this so he shows up as his own user name and not me?

Could you provide some example / screenshot of what you experience? Did you initially create a managed user for him or did you invite his existing account into your Plex Home? When doing so… did you at any point help him logging into one of his clients (in particular if he got a managed account then)?

If he is the case you should see his device under https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/all and remove it, requiring him to sign-in again with his actual (friend) account.

If things go really south and you cannot identify how he’s actually showing as your account… you can reset your account password. During this process you can enforce all connected players to be signed-out (again… requiring him/her to sign-in again with their own account)
