hey @Snowak187 keep your bs comments to yourself. as i said in a program like plex you DO expect when removing from plex that it won’t delete the actual files by DEFAULT unless it’s EXPRESSLY told to do so. coming into a thread to a thread 6 MONTHS after the issue was addressed and fixed to make your comment is TROLLING.

I am not trolling But if you cant tell the Difference between deleting and removing maybe you should stick to a tivo. Furthermore you’re not even the op of the thread. Take your safe space crap I am the victim some where else! If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck it a duck… If it says delete it means delete wow just wow.

There is already a back up function in the server which automatically backs up the database file every 3 days. https://support.plex.tv/articles/202197488-scheduled-server-maintenance/

Restoring it is basically just stopping the server and naming the back up file the same as the original, replacing it, then starting up the server again. https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/

There will not be any “restore button” because messing with the database files while the server is running will just cause the database file to get corrupted.
