I watched a movie last night without issues. Today I went to watch a movie and my collections were empty. I had to rescan my folders which recreated my database. Any reason why this would delete itself?
Maybe you lost the mount temporarily? Make sure you disable auto remove content in the settings… it’s a lifesaver.

Settings -Server - Library - ''Empty trash automatically after every scan
never activate this if your media storage is not internal, not local or in a JBOD
I turned off the trash option. Thank you. I’ve had Plex for 3 years now with my media files on my NAS, and never had this issue before.
