QUESTION:
How do I get PLEX Web to stop displaying information in a foreign language?
CONFIGURATION:
According to your screen shot, this video doesn’t have english audio, but only french.
The only thing english about it, are the subtitles.
Are you perhaps expecting it to read “French” instead of “Francais” in the list of audio languages? If so, I’m not sure it can be configured to do that.
French isn’t really an issue. A better example would be:
Serbian ----> српски
There are other examples in the list that are as equally compelling.
Well, if you understand serbian, you know what српски means.
If you don’t understand serbian, it doesn’t really matter, no?
I asked a simple question: Why are they not displayed in English?

The screen shot you reference was provided to demonstrate that the languages are tagged in English. I never said the movie had English audio. I provided another screen shot which documents the legitimacy of my question.
It was not clear at first that you meant the name of the language itself.
As to the “why”: I cannot tell you, it was not my decision.
Perhaps it was not deemed too important to make all the language names localizable. Due to the above reasons.
Then stop replying as if you’re the end all authority on stuff. Clearly you are not, nor are your interested in being helpful. You rarely are.
