Definite Bug with multiple users and "On Deck" - Plex automatically switching profiles

Hi,

I encountered an issue today when using Plex on the Xbox one. We use Plex all the time on Xbox one and love it, this is the first time I have encountered this issue:
I have 2 users set up to share my Xbox one Plex (me - Plex pass user, my wife) - This has worked perfectly up until now with my wife’s view of Plex reflecting her “On Deck” items correctly, and mine showing mine. Today my wife’s view showed my “on Deck” items, even though I was not logged into the Xbox one, and the main Xbox UI was showing my wife as being the only one logged in. Doing a warm shut down and start up did not resolve this problem. However doing a full reset (Holding down Power button) DID resolve the issue.
Thought it worth mentioning as a bug report

Interesting. We have made some changes around user profiles and app settings in the next update so hopefully that should solve this weird issue.

Thanks for response. This has happened more and more recently including tonight. Not sure if it helps but exact replication steps were:

  1. Active user on home screen = Me (Plex pass)
  2. Started Plex - On Deck is mine as expected.
  3. Part way through a video decided to Bing something about the film we were watching. Bing took us to IE and we spent 5 mins in IE
  4. Returned to Plex - On Dec now showing my wifes On Deck items not mine
  5. Checked Xbox Home screen still had me as active user
  6. Use Plex “switch user”, even though it showed me as active user, selected me again anyway
  7. On Deck still showed wrong items (my wifes)
  8. Managed to fix this by going back into “switch user” and selecting my wife - Screen showed same “On deck items” but this was now correct as active user was my wife
  9. Went Back into “switch user” and select myself again - Ondeck now updated correctly to my items
    So at least we can work around it without having to Hard reboot. Basically it involves forcing a “switch user” twice, first time to another user, and then back to your own

I believe I have found the trigger for this. I just walked into the living room whilst the wife was watching her tv show on plex. The Xbox automatically recognised me and stopped her tv show and automatically switched profiles to mine and showed my “on Deck”
Would suggest automatically switching profiles is not a good option as most people with a Kinect will have it set to recognise them.
