Delay skip intro button

There should be an option to adjust when the Skip Intro button appears for users. It’s programmed to appear a few seconds before the intro actually begins in a show and I find this extremely distracting. That’s always the time when the setup for a big joke or dramatic reveal occurs and having the button pop-up at that time detracts from experiencing whatever the show’s creator intended.

I’d prefer to only have the button appear once the intro actually begins. This should just be an option for server owners:

“Timing of Skip Intro button” - 3/2/1/0 seconds before intro; 1/2/3 seconds after intro

Hear, hear. While I love that the feature exists, the button comes too early. It’s killed countless end-of-tag punchlines already.

I totally agree. It would also be nice to be able to adjust how long the button exist. I feel like I am always rushing to find the remote before the button drops.

My ideal setup would be skip intro right when intro starts and last a good 3-4 seconds longer.

Also it would be good to have the button pop back up with the track bar after it fades during the intro.

Agreed. The feature itself is nice to have, but the skip intro button just acts as a big spoiler for when a cold opening is about to end.
