After suffering through issues with remote playing, browser playing, and HW trascoding for months, I found that deleting the content of the codecs folder, and letting Plex reload the codecs fixed everything.
Searching online I’ve found many cases of this also being an issue with others.
Could Plex automatically clear this folder upon upgrade and repopulate then?
I imagine this would sort out a LOT of frustrated users.
