Delete Media

I have put all my movies (named properly) into their own folder along with the poster, banner, etc. They are setup like this:
-Movies
----------RED (2010)
--------------------RED (2010).m4v
--------------------RED (2010).nfo
--------------------RED (2010)-poster.jpg
--------------------RED (2010)-fanart.jpg
--------------------RED (2010)-banner.jpg
--------------------logo.png, landscape.jpg, disc.png, clearart.png, then some additional folders

While on my client, there is an option to delete the movie which will delete the video file. Is there an option to delete the whole media folder instead? In my example above, I want to delete the RED (2010) folder instead of the .m4v. Is this possible?

Thanks.

No, that is not possible.

Do you know if the folders get cleaned up in a maintenance task or anything?

No, they don’t.
It was deemed too risky to attempt such a thing. Chances are very high to erase unrelated files, if the file organisation differs only slightly from the officially recommended schema.
So it was left to the user.

huh…okay. That makes sense. I figured a check box to ask if the each movie was in its own folder, and if it was, delete the containing folder. Thanks.
