Special delete permissions just for DVR recordings are needed. I have a managed user set up for the Family so that movies in our collection are not accidentally deleted but I need the ability to just delete DVR recordings after they are watched. Adding recordings to a “To Delete” playlist after they are watched does not work because playlists cannot be shared between users. Ideally we would have delete permissions per library per user but this is needed at a minimum.
I am beginning to think that nobody at Plex even uses their own DVR since basic things like this are missing. Are we really expected to give everyone access to the admin account so they can delete recordings after they watch them?
