Remote user no longer has the option to delete programs from their Library

Thie option to delete from their l;ibrary used to be there, now it’s gone.

Do you mean they are no longer able to delete content from YOUR server? Unless you let them use your account they should not have been able to delete your media.

It used to be that they would access the “Live TV and DVR” to setup a recording and then they would delete it after they viewed their recording. Now they don’t even see the Live TV and DVR. ?? And now if I try to edit their user profile I don’t see any options for the Live TV and DVR.

Are those users members of your „Plex Home“? From what I’ve been reading you should have an option to allow users inside a Plex Home to see/access live tv and/or the DVR feature

I understand what you are saying. First the users are created under Users Sharing and in looking at the support document “Restricting the Shares” (same place I think you are looking ) reading that first section sounds and feels like the way I described the situation however continuing reading on it feels like the area of the application has possibly changed and some of the later part of the documentation is what I am now experiencing. Clearly it looks like a friend creation includes the “Live Tv and DVR” Further the description under the same title is exactly how we were working previously. “but this user will only be able to manage their own recordings”

So somehow something has changed because when I edit the User the “Live TV and DVR access” title or drop down is no longer there.

Further clarification I’m creating and editing under the Users and Sharing function and then under Friends.

The way I read the support article above, this feature is only available for members inside your Plex Home. Users added as “Friends” cannot do that.
