Deleted sub - Playback problem

I deleted the PLEX downloaded subtitles (open subtitles) and yet PLEX still think it has all those subs (probably recorded somewhere in its database)

I have set the preferred subs language and when I play the movie, the movie just wouldn’t play.

How can I get PLEX to remove all records of the subtitles it has in its database?

Possible Solution #1:

  1. Move the video file out of your library storage location.
  2. Do the “PLEX Dance”.
  3. Restore the video file to the original location.
  4. Update the library.

Possible Solution #2:
Use the WebTools utility plugin.

(search the forum for what the Plex Dance is and/or WebTools.)
